I qualified as a Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor and Water Safety Examiner over ten years ago and I’ve since continued to pursue a career in the area of Health & Fitness.
After several years of intensive study in many different disciplines I found that the therapy that was producing the fastest, most profound and long lasting results among my clients was Kinesiology so I decided to specialse. The particular branch of Kinesiology I work in is known as Neuroenergetic Kinesiology or NEK.
I have completed advanced training in this discipline in Northern Ireland with Ms. Orla Brady Roslea and Hugo Tobar Australia (The founder of NEK). I continue to add to my knowledge each year with more and more training. In Sept 2010 I traveled to Steyr, Austria for 8 days where I undertook teacher training in "Principles of Kinesiology"”. This is a four weekend workshop which is the foundation level to NEK and is a prerequisite to beginning study in this area. I teach this workshop quite regularly so for anyone interested please don’t hesitate to contact me.
In Sept 2010 I also took over the Irish College of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology www.icnek.ie and I enrolled in a Certificate 4 which on completion will allow me access into Charles Sturt University in Australia where I plan to study with the University through distance learning to complete a Doctorate in Health Science

Joan Morton – Professional Chef for 14yrs. I was only lady on the Chef Olympic team in 96 who competed in London and Berlin. It was through back pain that I found Kinesiology in 2001 and then 4 years later I went on to complete an advanced diploma in The Mary O'Rourke College with Orla Brady. I went on to become a Touch for Health Instructor and have taught many groups.
I am the only Equine kinesiologist at present working in Europe and will be giving courses this year.
I continue advanced courses with Hugo Tobar (founder NEK) through out europe. I have recently completed "The Principles of Kinesiology" teacher training. This is a fantastic new course introducing you to this advanced Kinesiology. This course is run over 4 weekends and is full of great balancing tecniques and we will also have fun and laughter.
I am a registered practicioner for last 4 years and run a sucessful clinic in Teemore and will be expanding to Cashel Tipperary and Naas Co.Kildare to both practice and Teach in these areas.
